Brian Pogrund is the chief operating officer and chief revenue officer at Kin. He has more than 15 years of operations, sales and startup experience and leads the sales, support, revenue operations, and marketing teams.
Prior to Kin, Pogrund was the director of markets for North America at Getaround, where he oversaw a team of more than 200 full-time employees in logistical operations, sales, account management and program management. He was responsible for the growth, profit, and loss of all U.S. markets.
Before Getaround, Pogrund was the seventh hire and director of operations at Whittl, a Chicago-based startup. He helped launch and expand the company to a half-dozen major U.S. cities. Pogrund also worked at Grubhub and Safco Dental Supply before Getaround.
He holds a bachelor's degree in organizational studies from the University of Michigan and a master's of business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
